Collaborative activities were conducted in the school under the mentorship of Dr. Karuna Mehta as a Resource person. While performance of lunch activity by children of class III, IV and V, the nutritional value of various food products was explained. What the food contains, was analysed and the values for which the particular food is known. A talk by dietician was organized and it was efficiently handled by Dr. Karuna Mehta. The value of food product was explained and children were given ?Do?s and ?Don?ts i.e. what to eat and what to avoid. Class VI to X took part in the talk. An interactive session of documentary film was displayed in the A.V. room. The film threw light on balanced diet, healthy food habits etc. Children of class III to V participated and witnessed the documentary and this added to their knowledge and brought awareness about food and nutrition.
